🛌 Buckwheat Hull Pillow by Makura Review

I love the pillow, I don't like the advertised product with a pillowcase when it's not there and there's no obvious way to contact the seller.

Arrived dirty, no cover, no lining - just a bag of buckwheat. There are no pillowcases (like in the photo) and buckwheat filters clean dust through the "pocket".

Pillow was ok but not like the old Makura pillows I bought. You can't open the pillow to add more shells if you want and worst of all the plastic around the pillow was dirty. Unfortunately there are a few holes in the plastic, i.e. dirt spots on the pillow, which are directly on the pillow because there is no cover. I was very disappointed. I was really hoping to find an old original Makura pillow but it definitely isn't.

I've been buying buckwheat husk pillows for 20 years. This is the dirtiest thing I've ever received. I truly believe the inside of this pillow is just dirt. It arrived in a dirty black bag full of dirt and dust. After wiping it off and dabbing the pillow over the sink, I saw a very thin layer of dirt covering the white sink. It never ends. You have to breathe it all night while sleeping on it? Return trying a different manufacturer.

I ordered this pillow because I couldn't find a reasonably priced pillow that supports my neck when I sleep on my side (I can't sleep on my back due to back pain ). This pillow is fairly well filled with buckwheat hulls and gave quite a bit of support, but I figured a little less buckwheat hull could be used.
