These pockets are mostly good for leaves. Twigs can easily poke holes in them. They are larger but no stronger than most garbage bags. I prefer paper garden bags to these.

These bags fit perfectly in the Rubbermaid Slim Jim recycling bin I bought at the same time. They appear to be quite strong and have a certain amount of stretch to allow them to be wrapped around a container.

Decent bin liner. We toss our compostable waste in a smaller bin — we dispose of our food waste in an outdoor bin with a liner — because the wheeled bin is monstrous. Those tricks. We bought a slightly larger jar with a better cap to keep flies and maggots out. We tried ordering a larger size and found these bags are no longer available for shipping to California in any size. I had to buy them from another national retailer.
