Has no lighted end.

One of my requirements was an easy end. The description says it has an easy ending. The packaging says it has a light finish. THIS IS NOT. I wonder if it actually has 12 gauge wire. I will probably return it.

Pros
  • HEAVY DUTY Indoor/Outdoor Extension Cord 15A 125V 1875W.
Cons
  • Doubtful

Illuminated Extension Cord

I need a 12/3 wire to hook up a small fridge. I know you shouldn't use an extension cord for this purpose, but since the cord is the same size as the outlet's cord, it should be nothing more than an extension of the outlet itself. The cable is only 6 feet long.

Pros
  • ALL-WEATHER FLEXIBLE – Remains flexible and tangle-free in all weather conditions, and won't stiffen or snap in cold weather.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

No daylight visible power-on indicator

Very good product. I bought it to work with an Oregon 15 amp electric chainsaw which it handles very well (minimal voltage drop). And the tiny LED indicators in the two clear plastic ends are an enticing feature, but in practical use, meaning in bright sunlight, they're completely invisible. The "on" indicators are invisible in daylight (not that this solves the second problem).

Pros
  • SAFE- UL Listed, NEMA5-15P/R, 3-wire, grounded cord to protect you and your tools and equipment.
Cons
  • High price
