This is my first experience with Fox River products. Previously I was a seller of Thorlo's military socks. But these socks are a true warmth miracle. I have yet to get them to the BLM area in the Nevada desert, but my preliminary testing in the unusually wet, cold and wet season in Northern California is very positive. These socks are definitely made for the cold!

I just received a pair of these socks and made a small mistake when ordering. If you search for Coyote Brown, they will show up in your search, but you must select the second option to get Coyote Brown Socks. No big deal. I appreciate Fox RIver's continued innovation. I've been buying socks from them for 6 years and have seen many versions/iterations. It's the best they've done so far. They're both very comfortable (allowing me to wear my crappy boots without a gore-tex lining) and durable. I've been wearing them 5 days a week for 8-12 hours a day for years with no signs of wear. Update: I've washed them once and the peeling seems to be a lot. I also found a hole in them after less than two weeks of daily use. I wear more at home than in boots. These socks are warm, fit well and seem to stick well to the calves.

I have already bought their lighter military socks, I have 2 pairs which are 4 years old and still in great condition. They seem to be of the same quality and very warm. They work a little more than expected but not huge. Very happy with the product, FoxRiver makes great socks!

Excellent quality socks! I bought one large and another in a different style (6074) from the same manufacturer, both large. This one was much longer than the other. I contacted the manufacturer and they wanted me to send them photos of the socks in comparison. After seeing the photos they asked me to send them this pair back and after their QC team checked them they said the large size I bought was actually very large and wrongly labeled as large/wrong must have been packed.
