Bought this item to prevent my daughter from banging her head on the metal frame of my bed. It attaches easily to the bed and it only took me a few minutes to make the entire bed. I first bought clear silicone covers for my furniture thinking it would look better aesthetically but the corners were still hard and that drew more attention. They were easy to attach to my Better Homes and Gardens Cube organizers. My boys have organizers on both ends of their desks for storing books and the edges are REALLY sharp. I fear they will bend down and accidentally injure themselves. (or what might happen to someone in the household) There was no smell, the materials seem to last and are easy to keep clean.
