I bought the front medium size, my car is a Volvo XC 40, it fits very well as you can easily hook in the top and bottom cables, the barrier goes all the way to the roof and nice down behind the front seats. *Update* I've used this cross country (literally from Wisconsin to California and back) and it holds up very well, however it's not completely cat proof once the cat is properly set up. It's fully fit for a floor-to-ceiling Rav-4, but since it's not completely rigid, a sly cat could jump/pull its way through the tiny gap.
