Get it without the plastic.

When I bought it, it really didn't seem to me that the shank was plastic. It wore out after my first use. I understand this is an electrician's hammer so plastic = safe, but if you stick a hammer in a panel you're doing something wrong to begin with. Get an all-metal alternative.

Pros
  • Power and Hand Tools
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Great hammer! - Hammers with claws

Ideal for tool bag. Doesn't get in the way or get into your pocket like longer hammers do when working close to the ground. The long neck is ideal for working in tight spaces. .

Pros
  • Hammers
Cons
  • Long delivery
