I'm so excited to start this embroidery! The graphics are sharp, although I wish it had a paper grid to help place the colors. The color guide is on the canvas and can be difficult to read.

The fact is that they are paired according to the pattern. You should be guided by the colors on the canvas, and that's okay. They don't give you the same amount of yarn for each color so don't get too creative or you'll end up in the store looking for yarn. It's hard to tell which thread goes where.

Nice picture - or will it be one day. Keep in mind that while it does have yarn, it doesn't have a color chart and you should find that out over time. I have sewing experience in everything but I don't know how I feel about it. It's nice to have creative leeway to do what you like based on the colored squares that accompany the rim of all the craft kits, but a table with all the wacky symbols to tell you which color doesn't go where.
