We really wanted to love it.

First of all it is an installation problem. Second, it constantly falls apart. Third, this is the price of crap. We sealed the joints with tape and added a few extra supports. This keeps it working. You can just start with that. We've been here for a year now and I don't think it will be long.

It serves this purpose best in shower curtain rods

This shower rod is very cheap but it got used for the purpose I used it anyway. I haven't used it to surround a bathtub, I've used it to surround a wall mounted gun rack that seems to be attracting dust like never before. I live in a village on a farm and dirt roads, so we see a lot of dust. I placed it so that it hangs from the ceiling and completely covers my gun rack. I know it's weird, but this is where you need to get creative. Hopefully this will reduce dust build up on them. ;-)

Fits me well for bath accessories

I had to adapt mine to fit a smaller bath. With the help of a pipe cutter and a reamer it was easy enough. (I had to shorten the width on mine). The only thing I didn't like was that there wasn't enough support from the ceiling. I ended up using a piece of solid 1/4" thread. But the piece they supplied was in the range they said. Another ceiling support would be nice. But that was for my daughter, and she's quite rude ...it wobbled before everything was screwed in. So I assembled it and used…

Keep looking - it needs modification to be really working

I like the description of the unit and it's aluminum so it doesn't rust. BUT! It's very thin because a ceiling rod is terribly not enough! You need at least two poles. In addition, the ends of the loops are poorly attached to the supports and can easily be pulled out. We have 8'7" ceilings and the 24" ceiling rod is TOO LONG. When you step into the bath it is too low and the shower head is over the edge of the curtain. I had to cut the only rod that came with it and thread the cut end back in…

Fragile construction / Requires additional support

I bought this to replace an existing curtain system that I built myself. The overall appearance of the rod is very nice but it is very cheap and the parts do not fit together very closely. As a result, it keeps falling apart during installation. It only comes with a ceiling support so it tilts from side to side and has had to be constantly adjusted up until now. It is also recommended to hang 26.5 inches from the ceiling and in my case the curtain was very low. This required purchasing another…

Works for me - Bathtub

Reading the reviews for this product, it received very poor packaging. I need a new D-shape for a freestanding bath, the old one in my apartment has rusted and fallen apart in the time it has been there. It also didn't fit my bathtub properly. The installation process was a lot easier than I thought. I had more trouble with the old one as the wall mounts were smudged and the screws were easily torn off. When I finally installed the new rod, I saw that it would give me more usable space in my…

Just step away from the wall. no real support system

I installed the curtain rod today. It's flimsy and the pieces just fall apart and fall off, so you'll need someone to hold it all together (or duct tape). There is only one support to secure the entire rack in place and that is the bottom bar from the ceiling which was too long. to use, so I had to trim it down to a much shorter length. Once the curtain was hung on a pole. only the light weight of the curtain was enough to tilt the entire pole to the left or right, since the pole is in the…
