Nice shirt, cool linen but not as loose as I expected

I ordered this in size XL, I usually get shirts in size XL "casual fit" and they fit me , although I'm a little wider around the middle than I should be. This shirt was described as having a "loose fit" but apparently that's not the same as the "relaxed fit" I usually get. it's a bit tight in the middle, although I can still wear it. I would describe this shirt as a "regular fit" rather than a relaxed fit. If you don't have extra pounds around your waist, this shirt will suit you perfectly…
