Love this bag and use it often. The only problem is that you have to tie the strap yourself and it just ends up breaking. A couple of times it fell off my shoulder as the knot was being untied. I can only recommend the bag, but be careful.

Unfortunately I waited too long to return it and it's no longer returnable. The bag seems to be well made, but it stinks. I tried to air it out, that's why I kept it for so long. I don't know what's in that stuff, but it smells terribly strong. The smell is so strong that you can walk away from it and still smell it. I even tossed it in the dryer with a towel to dry for a few minutes. It still stinks.

This is how Vera Bradley wants to grow up. The stitching is straight and strong, the interior is large and closes well, and the shoulder straps tie (and REMAIN tied during use) for endless customization options. Gorgeous colors, a nice mix of really rich patterns, and big enough to hold a medium sized book (9" x 7") and all your other stuff. I am going to buy this bag as a gift now as I have had it for a few weeks now and I know how beautifully designed it is. Thanks very much!

I just got this bag yesterday and I already like it. However, I have to say that they used a child model for the photo. It's big enough to comfortably fit a couple of five-star laptops. There is a zip at the top which restricts opening the bag a bit, but this is normal. The bag is strong and durable. The strap is wide enough to be comfortable. An external zip pocket is complemented by another internal and open top pocket. It's the perfect size to use as a book bag or handbag. I love it!
