I purchased this item (from Michaels) and it broke within the first year of purchase. I take great care with my products - they are all in their original packaging, safely stored, unaffected by weather etc. The product does not light up and does not come to life. As per other reviews, mine stopped working after the first Christmas. Without light, sound and music. I kept it because I was hoping that one day I would google the answer to the problem because I really liked it when it worked. I brought it this year and told my friend to take it. This has nothing to do with Revain or the seller, just Lemax. Ours also only worked for about 3 weeks and most of the time it didn't work. It stopped working completely. I don't think the customer service was right for an item over $100. Lemax told us we could pay to send it to them and send $15 to have them send us a new one. But given the many issues people were having with this piece, it seemed unreasonable to spend another $30 when the same could happen next Christmas. A nice thing, but not
