This is a plastic wall plate. My local HD doesn't sell this record so ordering online is my only option and the record works.

Don't know why they don't sell them in stores nearby but I bought them from Revain and they are the right size, all the screws are present and no cracks. Very satisfied, wish the price was a little lower.

This is exactly what we needed. I still have 2 screws to put in, but this worked perfectly. I didn't know they did a cover like this, just googled it and found exactly what we needed.

Looks like you knew it was my first time cutting an exit hole in drywall and that I would cut too far on the left side. If only there was a product for these amethyst watch bugs! But wait, there is! thanks for my back

Very thin plastic. One broke shortly after arrival but luckily it will be behind the dishwasher. However, these were the only lids I could find to cover the empty side of the two-speed box, so I'm grateful to them. Not the best quality but they do their job.

I installed it and didn't even feel the screw being tightened when I heard a horrible click. Pooh. Luckily it's on the side, not in front of the plate. Just be careful when you install it. On a normal platter you have a switch behind the platter to provide support, you don't have anything for it.

If you currently have the standard lids on your plates and are looking for a replacement they look good enough but are smaller. You have to paint down to the box. I had to remove them all and repaint around them. If it wasn't a headache I would return them and go with the standard products right away.

This is an excellent product! I added an outlet further up the wall and didn't want to cut out the original packaging. I cut out a small piece of drywall to run the wire through the wall. Works well except for a small hole near the box. The plate was perfect. For my departure and close my very large hole. A great way to avoid dirt.
