Cover was always put away after each season. This season (3 rd year) cover is falling apart! I need to order a new pool cover! I thought the cover would have lasted longer!

I have owned 10 or more covers over the years. I've only had it a couple months, so I don't know how long it will last but is the thinnest material of any I've used. So thin, it is difficult to spread it over the pool.

Great cover. Heats pool 10 degrees+ and keeps pool warm on cool nights. I cannot believe I didnt buy this cover sooner. Great investment. The quality is pretty good so far (had for about 2 months) Cuts easy to size. Easy to fold if you do not have a roller to store. I would definitely stay with the 16 mil as it has worked great for me. Hoping the cover lasts a few years. Did not use the grommets it comes with. No need cover does not blow off.

So I am about to start using this cover for its second full season. I used it for two months during the fall of 2017 and then the entire pool season of 2018. This product IS NOT worth the money. It is basically just oversized bubble wrap! I live in Phoenix and we get PLENTY of sun, our pool does not have a heater so I purchased this to retain heat since this is Solar. IT DOES NOT WORK. Ordered the 20 x 40 16 mil. It was a tiny bit longer and wider than 20 X 40. Good thickness and floats without having to put the grommets in. The bubbles weren't as "full" as some of the other solar covers we've had and looked under-inflated. The instructions say the bubbles will inflate over time but it's been over a week and they're still not looking any fuller. If it holds up and the bubbles never get any fuller I'd still consider it a good buy for the money considering it's 16…

We have had this pool cover for less than a year and only used it to cover the pool about half a dozen times when a big wind storm was forecasted. While it worked great to keep the pool clean in a storm those few times, it has recently started falling apart. It isn’t just ripping or tearing, it is completely disintegrating. Very nice cover, thicker than previous ones. Does a great job holding in the heat, but real benefit is in the chemicals saved. Chlorine usage goes way down when using the cover. I added more grommets and some longer ropes to help pull the covers in place. The covers (our pool requires two) can be blown about by strong wind, so we anchor them with above mentioned ropes. Last covers lasted three seasons, but I'm sure they paid for themselves in saved chemicals, we'll see how these thicker ones…

I had a solar cover before, and it lasted a full three years and then it wasn't even ripped, but just too dirty and had white chlorine and calcium stains, so I threw it away. The cover arrived earlier than promised but packaging was just a plastic bag which got scuffed in shipping leaving a small hole in the cover. This cover cost $35 more than the one I am replacing and it appears to be the same weight or possibly slightly lighter. Evidently 1600 series is nothing more than hype. Trimed 2 fit pool, installed grommets, (great idea) lays nice flat. Warmed the pool up about 20 deg in a week, took 1st swim may 1st water temp 84 deg.

This cover is FANTASTIC. My pool is 18x36 — 20,000 gallons. Within one week of so-so temps in the low 80s, pool temp increased from 72 degrees to 86. With a a week of hot weather in the 90s, pool temp was up to 96. We actually had to leave the cover off and add cold water to get the temp down!Also, this is the cleanest my pool has been. This 16 mil cover is heavy duty! It is helping keeping my pool cleaner in the high winds we have been having. My pool is is steadily gaining temperature because I am not losing as much temperature at night as I was before. I got a My pool is only 9X18 and this is the closest size that would fit. I was skeptical of this product due to some of the reviews about de-lamination. But the directions are specific. Keep it out of the sun if not installed on the water. We made a simple 2x4 rack on our wood fence to put this and the 16foot intex rack on when not in use. Simple rigging of a tarp cover to keep direct sunlight off it and it’s stayed in perfect condition. The solar pool cover arrived earlier than expected and I was glad to see made in USA on the box. The cover seems to be well made and I trimmed it to fit my pol exactly. Only time will tell how long it lasts. It seems to be working well minimizing the heat loss during the night. The pool temperature went up seven degrees in just two days and it was only 70 degrees outside.

I needed a small size to insulate the two windows and glass door on my grow room garden shed. This size worked out perfectly. This is really heavy duty material and I like that the bubbles are really small. As a little perk it was easy to cut on the vertical because the bubbles are in a row. So the job went a little easier that way. I attached it to the windows/door with the bubbles facing into the room, with Gorilla clear tape.
