This duvet is nice and soft and a bit heavy but not quite as plump as the picture. If you lay it horizontally or hang it horizontally you can see all the stitching and it won't really look that big "ruffled". It definitely doesn't look like the pottery shed in the picture, but it's a quarter of the price.

This duvet is normal. I found the color a bit pale and dull. The images looked much deeper. It's soft and fluffy but not luxurious. This blanket doesn't cost $40. I found it on sale for $20 and it might be worth it. After scouring the internet for real blankets (because turquoise is clearly not in season in stores), I've come to the conclusion that you shouldn't buy blankets online.

, I got a new reading chair for Christmas so I wanted a nice blanket to go with it. While I like it, I compared the sizes of the blankets I got from Hot Topic to this one and judging by the measurements it should have been larger than Hot Topics and ended up being slightly smaller. I still love it! Very soft and light enough not to get in the way of my chair as I get used to reading, just wish it was actually longer/bigger.

I have never reviewed a product before but this one deserves a revisit. On arrival it was the wrong color and I didn't like the glossy texture of the polyester fabric. tried to return it but it cost $25 shipping and then 20% repurchase. I was upset but decided it wasn't worth sending it back and I would keep it for myself. I took it out of the plastic and washed it and it became a different product. Love this blanket! So much so that I bought a second one. The duvet is soft (but not silky) in a light dusty lilac/plum hue. The wrong side is similar to fleece but has rows of waves sewn onto it. The other side is slightly lighter in tone and more like fine velvet and is silky smooth. The duvet is quite thick but light and fluffy and probably suits all 4 seasons thanks to the light polyester material. The duvet is easy to machine wash in cold water and tumble dry low.
