Much better than buying the pipes and all the connecting pieces from the big box store. These pieces come painted whereas the big box store pieces are raw iron. These pieces though are not designed to be used as gas or water pipes; they are designed to hang pots and pans. And that's exactly what I bought them for. Extremely easy to assemble. Item arrived with packaging intact, but it was missing several screws and needed repaired before it could be used as three jewelry pegs had been broken off. I contemplated returning it, but since the unsatisfactory issues were related to the product itself and not shipment/damage, I wasn't hopeful that the replacement item would be much better. This is a nice size but I ultimately did not end up using it for my Fourth of July party. I could not get it inflated using the included pump and finally gave up on incorporating it into my buffet.The piece itself seems thick and well made, similar to an inflatable swimming pool. It’s warm, and fits fine. My only issue is the band on the inside. I snap it to the coat, then go to zip the coat up and it will unsnap. Not a big deal, it just doesn’t have any shaping to it without the inside band secured.
