Great portable antenna tuner but not sure I got a new one!

This is a great tuner that works well with the NanoVNA and allows me to tune the SWR to 1:1 for my favorite channel group. It arrived earlier than planned. The reason I give 3 stars is that the unit I received didn't look brand new as there is a screw missing at the bottom holding the now detached side panel in place and it isn't. packed up.

Pros
  • cross-needle meter displays SWR, output power and reflected power simultaneously.
Cons
  • unreliable

Pleasant manual tuning experience

Call me crazy but I love this manual tuner, I love turning the knobs and seeing the tuning results with the needle. I also do this process with the newfangled Nano VNA, which shows a nice SWR graph when setting up and is a good way to see what's really going on. This model also works great on 6m.

Pros
  • SO-239 rear antenna and transceiver inputs, 3 front manual tuning knobs.
Cons
  • Damaged

Excellent portable tuner - CB and talkback radios

This is a great handheld tuner for those looking for versatility and lots of features in a small package. It is designed as a mobile tuner, but can also be used as a carry-on or even as a home base station. The advantage of this tuner is that it covers all HF bands as well as the 6m band. I started with this tuner and although I have since switched to an automatic tuner I keep it as a backup.

Pros
  • Antenna tuner for HF transceivers - 300W.
Cons

Set everything up.

Is worth the money. With this tuner I tuned a wardrobe and a garden chair made of aluminum. I said 18 miles on a sun lounger. This thing will set everything up. I have had Antron 99, iMaxx 2000 and Sirio Tornado 27 on this tuner. It will set up everything you can connect to it. The instructions are a bit confusing at first, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes very easy. I wish I could take the next step for a dummy load, primarily for radio testing, but this unit did everything I wanted

Pros
  • Size = 8 x 2 x 6 in. Gauge illuminates when connected to optional 12V DC power supply.
Cons
  • Repair
