Largest capacity available, no problem

I've had several of these 8TB SSDs for a month and so far so good. Largest capacity I found as of 12/2019 and not yet available from other major manufacturers. I connect them to a Thunderbolt 3 SSD dock for my desktop or use them with a USB-C to SATA adapter on any laptop.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • No automatic

If you have a 10G network, you need it!

Finally a 4TB+ SSD under $1,000! Not as fast as M.2, but 4 times faster than a spindle drive. The price is worth it, especially if you have a 10 gigabyte network installed at home or at work. Plan on around 7 TB of usable storage space. I'm consistently getting 350MB/s write speeds from a PC with an m.2 drive to a server share using that drive over a 10GB network. Check Asus network cards and switches to use SOHO 10GB.

Pros
  • Rugged construction
Cons
  • No instructions

After all, an SSD can "almost " keep up with an HD in terms of price.

Value. I had two 2TB Micron SSDs in RAID prior to the last Microsoft update when my drivers were disabled. I switched to Barracuda and ran into problems. So I got this to solve them and found I had a RAM module failure after decades of building. After solving my issues, it works great and is a lot better value than any other SSD I've found so far. I have experience with this brand so don't hesitate. Plus no RAID and almost 8TB.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Nothing

Works great for PS4 Pro

I bought this to seriously upgrade my PS4 Pro. I needed both download speed and enough storage space for my 200+ digital games. it seriously fills the bill. after installing it on my PS4 Pro. You have 6.9 TB of usable space left. this is more than enough for what i need. but it seems to have been reserved a bit more than the actual item originally intended (7.68TB), can't imagine it took about 2/3TB to install the OS. but like I said, it's more than I need. and it seems to me that this is a…

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Love them and look forward to new products from Micron

Transformed my NAS from traditional drives into a device that can be used on the go. It was a very expensive change, but Micron is leading the way in terms of pricing and form factor for SATA servers with these SSDs. They work fully as expected and are a welcome change from traditional hard drives. Just keep in mind that these are QLCs and should not be used for very heavily written filesystems. The performance test gave excellent results compared to what was expected in the specification for…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • boring packaging

Works great as a multimedia drive in my CUK N950VR gaming laptop (Clevo N95TP6) and MiniPro 2.5" SATA-USB 3.1/eSATA external enclosure. I wouldn't use it as a primary hard drive on a PC or Use laptop as it's not really designed for that but it's great for a large storage device My 2 Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2TB M.2 do most of the work with RW Sometimes the Micron 5210 will slow down for a while not slow enough to interrupt gaming or streaming.I just noticed this as I have something measuring its…
