Loved the price

I liked the price but every time I print on it the ink smudges. I spread them out and let them dry for an hour and they still smudge. I use a laser printer and have tried HQ and photo settings with no improvement. So if you need them for business and care about how legible your text is, you might want to pay a little more. Avery is double the price but I don't think I've ever had this problem with their labels.

Pros
  • Ideal for mass mailing and identification. Bright white label stock delivers crisp text and rich colors
Cons
  • Something different

Better Than Avery

We use a lot of labels where I volunteer and we received our first Maco label order about 3 years ago. The pages themselves are not the same as Avery's, but all 15 Avery sheets would clog inkjet or laser printers. I can say without hesitation that I don't recall a single jam involving these Maco labels in any of our printers. As we have just ordered more of these labels I have the opportunity to write this review to let you know that this is a good brand. Search for the best price here at…

Pros
  • Acid free for safe archiving. Lignin free so labels won't yellow or crack over time

These labels are smudged with laser ink

These labels are designed for use with laser and inkjet printers. I used them in a laser printer for my Christmas address labels and was very disappointed that they were smudged and less legible; There are some issues with laser ink sticking to them. (I printed the same copy on plain paper and everything was fine, so the problem was with the labels, not the ink cartridge.) Unfortunately, I ordered it in May and didn't use it until November, so the return window was closing. Maybe they're…
