Must have been defective. That does not work. I use it as a joystick. We ended up buying a new one from a different brand after hours of thinking it was a joystick. By the time we realized it was him, it was too late to go back. At least we didn't only have $6.

This does not work with the Logitech Deluxe 104 keyboard. The build quality is good and the price <5$ is good. I bought an old PS2 keyboard for troubleshooting. Some keyboards can communicate via USB and PS2. This type works with this adapter. Unfortunately Deluxe 104 SK-720, M/N: Y-SA2 does not work via USB.

Doesn't work with all Logitech keyboards, just some. And I can't find a list of what works and what doesn't. No support from Logitech website. I have a Logitech Ps/2 multimedia keyboard from Windows 7 days. I've enabled the latest Logitech drivers for Windows 10 and PS/2 support and they don't recognize this keyboard when plugged in.

What a piece @#$% I'm buying this adapter to keep using my old keyboard, when I plug in the adapter my keyboard lights up but the keys don't work at all. Someone might say the keyboard is old and not working, WRONG! On another PC connected to PS2 it works fine. The one I buy is just @#$$%^&*.

Tried on 5 different keyboards. It looks like a PS2 to USB adapter but doesn't work like a PS2 to USB adapter. I've had many of these in the past and NEVER had one that didn't work. .

I bought this to connect my keyboard to my desktop. Plugged in, the keyboard doesn't work. When I took the converter out of the computer, it fell apart. On the plus side, I got my money back and didn't have to deal with the return postage.

My son finished school at home and took my trackball with him. Sad face. But I remembered I still had my OLD trackball BUT I needed a gender manipulator for it. There it happens. Fast shipping, looks great, easy to install! As other reviews have mentioned, this is a passive converter, not an active one. Therefore, some keyboards will not work with this converter. In particular, my 1984 IBM Model M keyboard isn't working and after a little research I found that it requires an active converter. Luckily I got my money back through Revain so I didn't fully use my $5 but it's still an inconvenience. Also, the product arrived bent when opened. It's important for people to understand that this is a passive converter. The USB ports have 2 data pins (D+ and D-), a Vcc pin and a GND pin. The PS/2 also has two data pins (DATA and CLK), a Vcc pin and a GND pin. This passive converter just routes the two data pins of the PS/2 port to the two data pins of the USB port and Vcc to Vcc and GND to GND. It is not actively converted between protocols.
