It seemed to work. - Forks

They seem to let air through. After installation I had to bleed the air. See Jeff Slaven Racing's comments on pumping. Super easy to install and use.

Stem is short - will not fit most KTM's

Will not fit my 2012 KTM SF-X Stem is VERY short. I always do my homework before buying any parts so I doubt I bought it blonde but I will admit to writing this review without double checking.

Pros
  • Great overall specs
Cons
  • No specs

Not screwing in deep enough

I bought these because they look really good on my friend's Yamaha. On his bike they fit snugly and look pretty fat. They don't screw in deep enough on my KTM. The threads match well and it appears to be well made. Just doesn't fit right

For 2011 WP CC forks with external compression adjuster

Perfect for my 2011 Husaberg with WP CC fork. Just clean the regulator knobs and clean the fins. No changes are required. Some reviews say they don't fully rotate. They sit in a rubber O-ring and are not designed to be screwed onto bare metal. As long as the thread is right, the thread will be right.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons

can work - Plugs and accessories

Don't buy, only one sealed so I mixed up the other thinking the spring was stuck. I was able to blow air through the valve with my mouth but when I put air in with the compressor it worked and held the air so I installed it and drove off, bad mistake. I had a film of oil on top of the fork after riding and probably sucked the dust into the fork.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Mostly ok but...

Your best bet is to email Motion Pro and find out the part.

Based on other reviews it is best to email Motion Pro for the part number that fits your bike. They recommended 11-0080 for my 2015 KTM 450 XC-W (open chamber forks). *Blue* 11-0080 fits perfectly and works great. Very happy with the purchase. NOTE: *orange* are different part numbers and will not work with these open chamber forks.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • quality

The WP fork did not fit the unprocessed KTM Freeride

I'm not sure if they fit other models of WP forks, but they didn't fit my KTM Freeride. The valve body is too thick and won't screw in far enough to seal with the included o-ring. Luckily I have a lathe and I turned it to size, without the right equipment the job can be a bit tricky. Update: The black top valves work and are the correct diameter. Check the diameter and fit of the model.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • There are cons
