Fast charging, not so good in dusty conditions.

Great for what we need. We only have 2 radios, not 6. And that's a good thing, because the front one no longer loads. However, we work in a very dusty and dirty environment. Charges the radio very quickly.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Beautiful buildable charger

We have four of these chargers with 24 CLP1040 radios. These chargers work efficiently. Sometimes the indicator lights will indicate that the devices are not fully charged (if they are charged), and sometimes they will blink strangely (not shown in the instructions).

  • Absolutely amazing!

Loads and saves headsets for 6 walkie-talkies!

We have 6 radios, this charges 6 radios. Enough said. OK, I'll add more. It can be hung on the wall. Each charging port also has a pocket so you can roll up and neatly store the earpiece and cable.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend

This charger, a range of radios and accessories can be easily stowed in a bag and carried to work lightly. The only downside to this is that the radios hang in slots where you'll wiggle or pull one out and sometimes have to put it back in the slot to keep the contacts strong. Sometimes you'll see a…

Absolute rubbish in chargers

This charger is absolute rubbish. I bought 4 radios and this charger. I noticed that the charging lights turned green either immediately or within a few minutes of plugging in the radio (green means it's charged and red means it's charging). All I could think of was noticing my radios being randomly turned off during the day. I sent the radio back assuming something was wrong with them and received a brand new set. Of course, this problem persisted, so I turned off the radio. I found that when…
