ATTENTION! ATTENTION! Suitable for HVAC

WARNING, THIS VALVE DOES NOT REPLACE ALL SUNRITE HEATER VALVES. I had to rip apart the engineering valve to make it work on my sr15t heater. Don't try this at home. The upper valve is new, the lower one is old.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Unsafe

Endangered and Lost!

This replacement for my MR heater will not fit the original sunflower heater. (Close but the holes were 2mm offset) I thought I'd get creative and just swap out the part I really need. Cheap screw heads just round off!

Pros
  • Excellent fit for me
Cons
  • Only available in white

Not exactly what I needed.

I was thinking that the regulator housing might be identical to the one that failed on my Mr. Heather. It wasn't, but there was a little rubber membrane in there! So I ended up paying $18 for a tiny piece of rubber that would cost no more than 10 cents if you could buy it. Or throw away the entire heater for $49. I hate the throwaway society.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Functionality

Works well, 1/8 NPT outlet

Had to believe some reviews, inlet works well, it's standard, adjustments work well (high, medium, low), outlet is a problem, it is 1/8 NPT , other than that one major problem/complaint it works well and hopefully for a long time and says it's the only one I've seen on the market. I saw another brand but the specs are still the same.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Can't remember

Will not work with Dyna Glo propane heater without a $7 adapter.

Will not fit my Dyna Glo 2 burner propane heater. The new controller is 1/8" threaded. Dyna Glo is 1/4". You will need 1/8. MPT to 1/4 FPT adapter. MPT - male pipe thread. FPT - female pipe thread. $7! Half the cost for the valve itself. Whoever says you need a "fitting" is doing no good. It's an adapter! Yeah, we make that shit work because Revane doesn't care.

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Safety

Thanks good deal

It worked fine but the hose insertion hole has changed. I had to buy an adapter to screw in the line, it's not a problem for me. Some can be challenged, I'm a locksmith so it was easy, I know carving. Offer Mr. Heater to add an adapter to the JIC, I got it locally for less than $2. Mr. Heater will sell it to you for about the same price as the regulators, about $12. it is 1/8" pipe thread to 1/4" pipe thread. They are much cheaper at most hardware stores.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Nothing here
