Good scanner for the price

Good scanner for the price. Got this to help me keep track of my inventory for my small business, works great. My only complaint is that the instructions aren't very clear, a lot of trial and error.

Great scanner for the price!

Overall the scanner worked very well! It had trouble scanning some smaller items (1/2 inch code) but all items with a regular sized barcode scanned without any problems. Setup with QuickBooks POS is quick and easy.

Plug and play scanner

I use this app for warehouse inventory and it works well with everything I've tried to scan so far. I'm impressed with the detail in the setup guide, although the default settings work well for my needs.

Ideal for use in a school library

I needed an additional scanner to speed up my library's book inventory at work. This scanner arrived quickly, worked right away and continues to meet my daily library needs.

Scans poorly on a black background

I have a lot of barcodes on a black background and this scanner doesn't recognize them. I tried from different angles and distances but the barcode is not recognized. I prefer my old Honeywell scanner which can read any barcode on any background.

Works well! for office electronics

Great little scanner for my needs. It's a very simple plug and play item, meaning you just plug it into your computer and it's ready to go with no installation process. It scans what I want, and while I haven't gotten the entire process to work, it's not the scanner's fault. It works exactly as advertised and I am very glad I bought it.

Not bad, good for barcode scanners

It was a good scanner but I'm not sure if the build quality justifies the price. It's easy to use (plug and play) and does an excellent job of reading barcodes. However, the indicator light that lights up when you pull the trigger is terribly blinding, and the scanner is very light. Especially since it doesn't come with a stand, make sure you can secure it so it doesn't break. This is a good scanner if you just want a *basic* scanner that can read 2D barcodes and scan barcodes on screens.

It works, but Jacky's price and manual aren't available for download, which doesn't bode well.

I ordered this to replace an outdated Honeywell that couldn't scan 2D codes. It definitely does and lightning fast! It's easy to set up using scan tags from the included printed manual. It looks like a USB keyboard. However, the build quality is mediocre; It's super light, and thanks to its cheap hard USB cable, it won't even stay where you put it. And of course there is no cradle. But it feels pretty good in the hand. The real red flag, however, was when I googled "bur3097 barcode manual" and…
