I was skeptical when I bought it. I first bought a boar bristle brush as that's what the old school suit makers use. The brush did not remove the lint as expected. So, I thought, for a few bucks, why don't you try it? I was trying to remove stuck fluff from a fleece jacket. Bought this brush hoping to replace my old one which I had had for years with short bristles about 1/4 the size of this brush. Thing is, with the short bristles the thing looks brand new, it shaved off the lint like it never existed, but with those long bristles it only shaved off about half the lint and did it in twice the time compared to one small brush with tiny bristles. , that's because the tiny, short bristles pack more power without much effort.
