Ideal for foggy days or travel spray

Doesn't really help with internal fogging, in case you're wondering, but helps a lot to drain the drops from the outside. I was transitioning from a bike with a small windshield to a bike with a good windshield, so once my drops stopped blowing it was a lifesaver.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Big mess and waste of product.

Two items in a padded envelope (poor choice!). The cap was removed from one object, the handle was apparently pressed against another. Result: Waste material soaked into the envelope which was mostly open with much liquid material in the envelope spilling onto clothing etc. Result: LARGE WATER AND WASTE PRODUCT!

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Doubtful

Great product, best helmet accessory

This is a MUST HAVE product if you ride a motorcycle! I use it on both my helmet visor and windshield and it works great for beading water and dripping off the surface! Yes, you'll need to reapply it monthly or every two weeks during the Northwest's heavy rainy season, but what can you do? THIS WORKS GREAT! Use a cloth to apply and another to wipe.

Pros
  • Try one year free
Cons
  • Gotcha

Raindrops roll off immediately!

I used it on my helmet because the weather is starting to worsen here and it rains quite often where I live. To be honest it worked really well. After putting it on my helmet, I saw drops forming and running down my visor as I rode. There was a noticeable change in how quickly the drops slid off my visor after applying this wax. I would recommend it.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Suitable for 1 trip only before reapplication is required.

While this product works compared to no other product, it's pretty bad. I used this on the visor of my motorcycle helmet for commuting in Seattle. After following the instructions and trying it, it will work for about 1 ride before needing to be reapplied. It didn't work at lower speeds or in dense fog. I chose this product for RainX for Plastic which seems to work just as well as regular RainX and doesn't seem to wash out in the rain.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

This item works very well. I use it on my windshield as a .

This item works very well. I use it on my windshield and also on my helmet mask. When used correctly, the water simply collects in droplets and then rolls off the windscreen and face mask. In bad weather it is much better to see. The only downside is you have to apply before it rains. Sometimes we have a storm at work. I can reach my helmet's visor fairly well, but the bike's windshield is another issue. But overall I would buy it again.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • I will say nothing

The best I've tried.

I have been using this product for a little over a year and so far it has lived up to expectations and worked very well. Prior to Nikwax, I used Motosolutions Rain Coat, which is significantly inferior (think those small packets of TurtleWax the size of a sugar bag). Nikwax rides much easier, doesn't need polishing and protects very well from rain. Similar to Rain-X for a car. I've had the same bottle for about 14 months and it's far from empty and I commute to work every day no matter the…
