Worth the money, make sure you're old enough to have them

All my life I've wanted really good sunglasses for training, whether it's long-distance running or cycling, but I've always hated spending so much money spending a lot on something that can fall or break so easily. Well, after keeping the same cheap pair of sunglasses alive in racing for over a year, I finally feel like I've proven I'm to blame enough for going bust. In the two weeks I rode and ran with them, I was amazed at how much they really improved my vision, especially when entering and…

Pros
  • 100% UV Protection: Oakley Plutonite lenses offer 100% UV protection by blocking all UVA, UVB, UVC and harmful blue light rays filter out up to 400 mm. Lightweight Oakley Plutonite lens material offers unmatched comfort, clarity, and impact and UV protection
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Oakley crushed it again

These are definitely not the cheapest goggles on the market, but they perform as you would expect Oakley goggles to do at the track. Looks great! I have received several comments about them so far. Fit - Really comfortable. I can wear them all day and I don't think I'll ever realize they're there. The performance is 9 out of 10 points. I live in Arkansas, where it gets very humid in the summer months, so fogging of my glasses is a constant problem. and frankly, that's why I paid so much for…

Pros
  • Polarization Type: Non-Polarized
Cons
  • Questionable buy for seniors

Lenses are too tall to wear a bike helmet

Quality eyewear, no question. Dated "Blades" design from the 90's but functional as I understand it. I liked the idea of padding that pops the lens out farther for better ventilation and to avoid sweating, but this tall lens cuts right into my mountain bike helmet. This makes them unsuitable for mountain bikes. I have a huge head. I wear a big helmet. And they still collide. I would have thought that a normal sized head and helmet would have an even worse spacing. Damn.

Pros
  • Patented High Definition Optics (HDO): Oakley High Definition Optics offers superior optical clarity and clear vision from any angle
Cons
  • Negative Impression

Fake (Fauxkleys) Almost convincing

Arrived broken. As with all flight jackets, the "Made in USA" label is missing. These are fakes. The lines of the hand shape are much more visible than the real Oakley. The Oakley and Prizm engraving on the glass differs in size and font. Combat jackets come with a booklet of features and instructions, and they didn't have any. They also didn't come standard with optional shorter interchangeable temples or an optional rubber nosepiece. The O on the hard case wasn't as large or indented as that…

Pros
  • Plastic frame
Cons
  • Uncertain

animal glasses! in sunglasses

Amazing glasses and love for performance on the bike. Oakley have upped their game with these lenses and the quality is amazing. With normal wear and tear, you can see the bottom of the frame but won't get in the way when you're running on trails and disappear when you're cycling. These lenses work great in low light and really enhance the colors. Monster glasses, great design but unfortunately buying them won't help you grow a monster beard.

Pros
  • Axle width: 137 mm
Cons
  • Clarity

Super clear vision and great vision

Super Clear Vision: The lens color is not stylistically appealing but is not discernible through it except for the added contrast. Depth perception is better when riding in a canopy with mixed sunlight and shade. Details in the shadows are easier to see a split second before you reach that area. Light Transmission: They are surprisingly easy on the eyes despite the very light hue (and lack of polarization). The extra light transmission is greatly appreciated when entering a dark place suddenly,

Pros
  • Prizm low light sports lenses are designed for low light conditions. Ideal for cycling or running in low light conditions. Light Transmission: 75%
Cons
  • Volume
