Michael has new and old flower folds. I look forward to meeting him at the Paper Folder Convention in Ohio in August 2018.

Weak Excuses for Flowers

This book was written by someone who expected his readers to be idiots with no origami skills. Some patterns don't look like flowers at all, and those that look pretty require a lot of trickery, like cutting with scissors or using glue. There is also a great lack of variety in leaf and calyx patterns. Don't waste your time with these two little brochures.

  • Great for Me

  • No Instructions

not the best

As a previous reviewer noted, many of the "flowers" here don't really look like flowers. I was repelled by the prettier ones that had to be cut and glued. Also, most floral designs just fall apart when you put them together. The way you attach the petals to each other is not sure. So don't assume that a flower you make will stick together for 2 seconds (unless you glue it, of course). The only bonus for the set was the bonus paper, which is why I gave it two stars instead of one.
