Shallow depth on spark plugs and ignition tools

This spark plug head is very long but NOT very deep. It has the same depth as a normal spark plug socket and prevents the removal of spark plugs that are too long. In fact, it is an extension cord and a normal candle cartridge.

Pros
  • Nice thing
Cons
  • Fading

affordable and works well.

I need to change the spark plugs on Audi 2010 A5. holds the fork well, maybe too well. When I put it back in the socket, the ratchet disengages it before it comes out of the socket. No big deal and easy to overcome.

  • Impressive

does the trick; Not sure I like the swivel

I'm a bot to use on my generator. That helped. It's a good heavy piece with a quality feel. I don't think I need a hinge joint; takes a little getting used to, but it works. No complaints.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Slightly torn

It's just a regular socket with a longer body

I was looking for a socket that was hollow and deep enough to fit a spark plug with a broken spark plug wire connector. Got it. On the inside it is flat and designed for a regular spark plug, but on the outside it has a longer body.

It worked fine a couple of times

The tool worked fine on the first two spark plugs, then it stopped holding the spark plugs. I had to use needle nose pliers to remove and install the remaining plugs. I think the rubber grip is pushed in too far. It should also be made slightly longer so that no lengthening is required. I wouldn't, but that's it again.

Spark change from 1 hour to less than 5 minutes

My MX5 Roadster is eating spark plugs. This was a feature I found out before buying and it wasn't a big deal. One weekend I attempted to change spark plugs using a spark plug I bought at a local auto shop. Apparently it was too small, and after you unscrewed the spark plug and lifted it up, both the spark plug and the socket remained in the engine. I'm freaking out! I thought I completely screwed up my engine. My fingers couldn't get in there and neither could my tools. I finally found a…
