Great bulb replacement

My car went out of parking light so I bought an aftermarket Philips 1296 bulb. It works great and is very bright if not better than the stock bulb.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer model

I can not leave a review

I bought this product to replace the license plate light on one of our cars and it turned out to be a loose/dirty connection not a bad bulb. However, I can tell you that these types of lamps are really very easy to remove/replace.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!

Philips part number for W5W

Just another part number for W5W. Philips quality and Revain price. New and bright. I'm trying to change the bulbs before they go out. Then I keep the old one in the trunk as a spare. Replacement bulbs are legal in all EU countries but not in the US.

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • Very expensive

Do not trust the partial compliance data listed here

Totally unsuitable as a tail/brake light bulb on a 2007 Impreza Outback Sport. Ridiculously wrong. I didn't send it back because I destroyed the package when I opened it and I shouldn't have sent it back for $5. Go to an auto parts store, remove the lightbulb and pick it up inside. This saves you from waiting for the wrong part.

Pros
  • Permanent Test Results
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

Lightbulbs work perfectly. Please use the best postal packaging box.

I'm sure these are good brand lights and should work fine. Installed on my GL450 and they are bright. Nothing wrong with the product. However, the Amazon packaging box used for shipping is a box with two open ends, the same box you usually see when ordering books. The box is great for large flat items like books, but not for small lightbulbs. I order 2 sets of bulbs but I only found 1 set in the box. the other set must have slipped out in shipping. the gaps in the letterbox are huge compared to

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • There are problems

Nice bulbs but remember they are not white light

Good floor lamps with a long service life. Warm yellowish light looks a bit out of place with HID, but that's not my main concern. Had to pull the bumper and headlight housing out of my 2009 Saab 9-5 to replace a faulty LED bulb and wanted to make sure I didn't do it again anytime soon. That's the problem with 99% of the LED bulbs on the market, they just don't last long. Yes, we've all been told that LEDs should last a lot longer than incandescent bulbs, but that's a misconception in the…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • The list will be long.
