Note - although the websites (and I.

) Note - although the websites (and I checked several places) say they match front and back, they should only be used for the back pieces. They are clear and the front ones should be yellow (08 Pontiac G5 - don't know if that applies to all cars).

Not easy to install but due to my 2011 Malibu design

The bulb itself works great. Fits perfectly! I have a 2011 Chevy Malibu. You need to open the trunk and remove the plastic taillight bracket. It took me about an hour to install two lamps. Chevrolet didn't impress me. They designed it to piss off the customer and get them to go to the store to pay Chevy for the replacement. My BMW made it easy to change lightbulbs, but it's a rip off to fix things. The windows were broken. Don't buy a BMW or a Chevy. that's my advice.

Should be sent in stronger packaging

The bulb package arrived quickly and on time, just as promised. The item was just right for my vehicle and easy to install. I wanted to replace both but unfortunately they were sent in a padded envelope that didn't properly protect the bulbs. One already had a broken thread.

A bulb blew out fairly quickly after the installation, but.

A bulb blew out fairly quickly after installation, but that may not have been due to the quality of the bulbs, but rather the fact that they were shipped overseas to my military mailbox. Who knows how many knocks and bumps the contents of the package received during transit. The second bulb in the package lit up after installation. I would buy again if needed.

Pros
  • High test scores for support and durability
Cons
  • Not a car

Good bright light without having to convert to LED

I started buying lightbulbs and found so many options for LED lighting and I had to find resistors and other things that just complicate my simple needs would. I connected them to my non-working brake light socket which was not working on my 1996 Ford Explorer. I used another pair to replace another on the other side which will probably fail soon too. 2 or 3 Phillips screws pulled the entire taillight out and I was able to put a new bulb in and put everything back together in 10 seconds. Very…

It's only been two flights and now he's dead again.

These lamps are not durable. Almost all Amazon sets die very quickly. back to the auto parts store. Above is a close-up of a "new" lightbulb that had its filament broken after being driven less than 10 miles. I heard the rapid click of an automatic lightbulb as I approached the house. As you can see, the dip sits between the post and the curl. I bet forming low quality filament will cause cracks and is a point of failure. Phew on the right bump. Maybe it's one of the manhole covers on my trip…

  • Sturdy construction

  • Protection
