🧼 Philosophy Shampoo, Shower Gel & Bubble Bath: Luxurious 3-in-1 Experience, 16 oz Review

I used to get this philosophical scented soap as a gift and have always really enjoyed the scent. I really like the smell of vanilla birthday cake so I ordered this one. I'm completely disappointed that it doesn't smell like that, it just smells like soap. I will not buy this item again because I only bought it for the smell (I have young children who will love it too).

This is a great smelling body wash. It's also a good gift because it's quite neutral if you like the smell of a birthday cake. (Some of the other smells they produce are good too, like frosting or cinnamon rolls; some are better than others.) It lathers really well and doubles as a shampoo! It smells really fancy and might whet your appetite for cupcakes.

I personally love the smell of vanilla birthday cake. It lathers well, lasts long and smells great in the shower without leaving a strong odor. I've been buying this for a number of years now and will continue to do so. UPDATE: I opened this new bottle a few days ago and I agree with other reviewers that the scent is muted compared to before. Downgraded to 3 stars because the scent was the reason I bought this product.

I bought this shower gel for myself as a birthday present. Basically I've only used it as a shower gel daily and twice in a bubble bath. What a bummer I had this brand before I bought Ulta and they were always very fragrant. I couldn't wait to smell that. ZERO smell. Seems ok. I thought maybe there's something wrong with me. That's how his family smelled him. They said they don't smell either. Then I got to reviews and sure enough, tons are saying the same thing. It's back!
