Most of the other pillow fillers I have are foam based. I love them and also like to have some down fillings. That gives me some variety. The foam provides a firmer padding, the down lies close to the body. Sometimes you need a pillow to support you and sometimes you need one to sink into. That's what these down fillings are good for and I feel like I expected that.

I have ordered inserts that are 2 inches larger than my comforters as I have seen in many places. Based on the reviews I really expected them to fill my pillowcases and look full; They don't. Unfortunately, my pillowcases sag and hardly shrink when I lean against them. This defeats the whole point of having a pillow on the couch. I will never get them properly packaged for returns but judging by the price I really regret buying them.

I change the cushion covers on my garden patio every season. I'm ashamed to admit that the filler I used is bubble wrap. Please don't tell my neighbors.
