Good product but not universal.

A good solid product but not universal. Humminbird Helix 5 is not suitable for this item. As a result, screw in the screws.

Ideal for Lowrance HDS Live 7

Quality product. I have multiple ram mounts. The holes align perfectly with the Lowrance HDS Live 7 mount. All I needed were 1-inch #10 stainless steel screws and locknuts and I was done.

Ideal for use not only in the boat!

I added a piece of plywood and glued foam to the wood and used the mast mount adapter on my Polaris Ranger. This is a weapon rack for hunting prairie dogs on a ranch. Works great, easy to remove. Bought another one for a passenger.

Perfect for upgrading my Hummingbird 10 " G3N graphics.

The 1" sphere isn't technically strong enough for the weight of my Hummingbird 10" G3N graphic, but I delete my graphic when I tow my boat, so I got away with it . If you're cruising in rough water or trolling with a chart out, this might not work for you. I saved some money by not having to buy a new ball mount system.

Garmin Exhomap Chirp 7 Series

This mount fits my Garmin Exhomap Chirp 73 series fish finders perfectly I recommend this one over the longer one RAM recommends for the 7 series because it is shorter and less conspicuous. One star minus because it rides on my bow mount in very rough water, but I guess this is inevitable with RAM mounts. Still my decision to install my sonar.

Unfortunately none of the holes match the Humminbird Helix 7 gimbal mount.

As stated in the title I ordered this to mount on my Helix 7 Mega SI G3 and none of the holes fit. I can zoom in on a group of holes nearby, but I'd rather not. Can't fault the quality or the seller, just doesn't quite match the Humminbird hole template. Other reviewers had no issues with some of the Lowrance and Garmin devices, so they're definitely useful in many applications. I deducted one star for lack of compatibility with Humminbird.

There are a lot of holes but still had to be drilled to mount the radio.

Many holes match different electrical components, but they do not match Uniden marine radios. I tried all possible positions but still had to drill a hole for the final attachment. But over the years I've really LOVED the mounting positions that Ram mounting systems offer. I have used them on my ATV, boat, truck and motorcycle. Speaking of motorcycles, everyone LOVES chrome on motorcycles. It would be nice to have some chrome components to mount various items on the handlebars of bicycles and…
