I give this puzzle 5 stars because it is so beautiful when finished. It's bright and bold, but delicate at times. I still haven't broken it because it's so beautiful. But for the puzzle pieces I like the most I would only give 4 stars because they don't have as much variety as I would like and they form straight rows horizontally. I'm thinking about doing this. It's really a nice puzzle when finished. The individual parts are also beautiful and colorful, so putting them together is a pleasure. The overall quality is good. Some of the pieces were frayed at the ends or the paper hung a little off the backing when I tried to match them and got it wrong, but no big deal and nothing that would ruin the final product. I like the picture of the puzzle, but the quality is average at best. It appears that the blades Ravensburger used to cut the puzzle were blunt and the puzzle was "torn" rather than broken before it was placed in bags. I have included photos of the completed puzzle and some sample pieces to illustrate the "torn" piece problem. The puzzle itself is harder than it appears. This is a great puzzle! Just the right level of difficulty for me. I like challenging puzzles, but not ones that require you to try every detail because everything looks the same (remember the starry night puzzle). I like the ability to group textures and colors, but I also like some ambiguity. There is a balance, and this puzzle nailed it perfectly. The colors are very bright. Almost too much for me.
