The glossy finish is shiny enough to shine in the mirror, don't be surprised if you smile at your reflection. Ray-Ban knows how magical it is to make your frames unique in looks and craftsmanship. However, I recommend giving them a quick wipe down on hot summer days to prolong their glossy finish.

My client had one of these glasses (which I tried on) and I found out the model number in the glasses. It felt a lot heavier than the ones that had arrived today. Also, the Ray-Ban emblem on his glasses was an actual metal square with the Ray-Ban logo engraved on it. These emblems appear to be soldered into the frame. Whether they are real is questionable.

These glasses are great. They are slightly larger than I expected in terms of lens width/height. But that's the style these days. They are snug to the body but won't give you a headache if you wear them all day. I've had a third party insert recipe transitions and they work great. I chose a tan green which is a dark tortoise shell and the green is barely visible which I was concerned about. Green can only be seen from a certain angle. All in all a great purchase.

Despite what others say, these are genuine Ray-Ban glasses (I have been buying Ray-Ban RX glasses for many years) and if they are not genuine then they are I don't care because they are one of the highest quality shots made. Why pay twice as much for Pearl Vision when Revain sells them for a lot less as they have tremendous buying power and prices stay low.
