Reese 58431 Reducer Bushing 2 1 Review

This part did not fit at all. As if the holder/connector was welded on the wrong side. I couldn't even attach my hitch to it as the locking pin holes didn't even line up. I had to run to my local van parts store to get a new one that worked. Wouldn't recommend it.

Fits my 2016 GMC 3500 hitch as I lost the factory adapter but the hole where the pin goes is misaligned when the adapter is fully seated. Most of my followers don't work. with him because of that. You can push it out to straighten the pin, but then the handles are too short and it won't reach the hole. I plan to rotate 90 degrees and drill my own 5/8" hole to make it work. Very annoying.

This is a good bushing but there is a problem with the hole location. The 5/8 hole on my pickup hitch is 2 inches from the front. This piece is 6 inches long but has a hole drilled in the middle. This means when I install this jack I have 1.5 inch jack sticking out of my receiver! Maybe I can use a drill press and drill a hole on the other side/surface to make it sit flush? It's installed so I used black tape to raise it up a bit and make it quieter. Finally, I don't like that it's made in…
