I'm not sure why there are bad reviews for this product. That works great! The only negative thing I can say is that the vw logo has no clear coat and can easily be scratched.

Comes with no instructions and most places I've gotten information from don't mention removing the transponder from your old key which is permanently glued on. They say it's a simple process, but nothing about it is easy.

This replacement housing fits my old worn out key perfectly. The replacement process took about 5 minutes and the quality of the case is even better than the original, not to mention the fact that a small screwdriver was included to make the replacement easier. Will definitely buy another one when the time comes.

I had a $69.00 key maker offer to replace my new 2004 Beetle key fob. Luckily, I saw a Binowen product on Amazon for less than $10. After moving the knife (there's a trick you can find on YouTube), the RFID chip and the circuit board to the new key fob, everything worked great. A note: The VW logo decal is located inside the new key fob. So don't order it off ebay like I did and waste $5. Lesson learned ;) Good luck.
