I bought them in a wide width, they even marked the width on the boot and box, but these shoes were actually very very very narrow. Admittedly I've had standard width shoes from other brands and haven't had any problems with the width, but they really are a pain to try on. I got them in the mail the other day. I was hoping to surprise my husband with these shoes but it didn't work out. He wears size 13, he has neither full nor wide feet. His feet are flat and thin, but these shoes were too small for him. He couldn't even get his foot halfway into the boot. Needless to say they are returning. They were nice shoes, but too small.

My son needed them for dress up events AND to go on stage in a theater production where he dances a lot. It took me a while to find a good shoe but this is it! Not only do they look good in an outfit, they're also very comfortable - enough for him to walk nine shows over two weekends without blisters or discomfort in the "new" shoes.

Rockport shoes are well made and attractive. When I ordered the Rockport I also ordered Dockers moccasins which were exactly the same size. dockers fit; Rockports - no, and they were returned without walking in them after trying on a shoe.

I've worn them 15 times but now they creak like crazy when I walk. It's not the usual low noise of shoes that only I notice, but a loud and uncomfortable noise that was noticed by several people around me. It seems that the shoes are made very cheaply. $50 isn't $200, but it's not $20 either. Poor quality and a shame as they fit perfectly and look great. It seems this is exactly what I was looking for, but not with such a sound.
