Huge pain. for door and stair gates

To be honest, this is a great pain. They are difficult to adjust and often pop out if I just grab the cord. There's little you can do when you have curious kids and need them.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • A dubious purchase for the elderly

Cheaply made good for gates and gate extensions

The front of this keeps popping out rendering it unusable. I found a workaround by gluing it on, but I shouldn't have done that with an item like this. I'll take something better as soon as I can afford it.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Nothing here

Efficient and good looking

They are great for holding cord but not sure how easy they are to use when you want to roll up blinds. I can't understand this part. But they look beautiful and effective.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Do not pull the cords to adjust the blinds.

After placing an object on the blinds, do not pull the cords or the plastic fasteners will break. Well, if you're never going to touch them again, otherwise time is running out.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Not automatic

Peace of Mind - Gates and Gate Extensions

It does its job well although I had to use two cords to get the cords high enough for my granddaughters to reach. It's probably not designed for 2 or 3 cables at a time. I have an extremely curious granddaughter who finds it difficult to control her desire to play with anything, even when told no.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Vanish

These things are great for blind cords

These things are great for blind cords! We used them when our daughters were little and now we're using them again for our son ten years later. They are so simple and easy to use that it's a wonder no children's clothing store carries them. Thank God Amazon! We like them better than the ones that have to be rolled up on a hook attached to the ledge because you can still use the blinds to their fullest, although the excess is in the plastic cover. Good product!

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • boring packaging

Practically functional

Used this to trim the cords for my blinds to keep them out of the way of my toddler. They wrap the cord fairly easily but crumble every time the cord is let go. Damn. Time. You absolutely cannot pull on the bottom of the cable once they are installed as they will pop out and leave a tangle. They shorten the string so they at least do what they're supposed to do. Having to close your blinds daily or multiple times a day can be annoying. In the end I just found the altitude and left it alone.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Minor issues
