If you want to wash and be clean, they're perfect, I'm glad they're not soft. Perfect my favorite and they last about 2 months and are still thick and washable.

I keep with this brand because I've bought others and was very disappointed because others were too soft. It lathers so well that we don't need a lot of soap.

I have an old Asian scrub pad that they had to replace but I'm keeping it because it's harder and more scratchy than them. . I really don't mind, scratching has its place and utility. It stimulates my skin and seems to make it very clear. I wouldn't want to use it on my face though. They just seem too hard for that. Even if you might have a different attitude towards them. All different.
