FLOAT R missing o-rings

Giving 3 stars because the seller says it's for the Fox Racing R Float or "fits all fox Racing Shox", the shipping was fast! Which I really appreciate! But the problem here is that if you have an older model like the one I have in the picture. This kit has everything you need EXCEPT 2 o-rings. A main ring that opens when you unscrew the air bottle and a small ring that sits on the inner shaft. I wish people knew about it. I was lucky I wasn't missing 2 and not included in the kit. NOT for all Fox shocks. DO NOT buy for Fox Float R

Arrived quickly, good quality but NOT for all Fox Float dampers. I was missing an important part for my Fox Float R - the big, fat O-ring that seals where the main airbox screws in, on the side next to the rebound adjuster knob. It's the big, bigger one, third from the bottom right, in the picture where they're all stacked on top of each other. Grrr. It had a couple of flimsy o-rings unrelated to my shock and one seemed to be the right diameter, but it was too flimsy. So. All the other seals…

Tedious but works: Parts

I completely rebuilt the Fox Floating shock on my Specialized with this kit. Before the restoration, my shock absorber kept breaking. A few o-rings were missing, but luckily I didn't have to replace those particular ones. The restoration took a few hours because it was my first attempt at restoring one of them. I'm a mechanic so I had all the tools for the job. If you are inexperienced with tools or maintenance, I suggest you hire someone with more experience to do the job or supervise your…

The kit is missing the thickest o-ring shown in the supplier's picture. Required for some Fox Float R shocks

The thickest o-ring in the supplier's picture is missing. It is required for the Fox High Volume Float R rear shock where the body cap screws into the body (male thread) (male thread) unlike other models where the body cap screws onto the body. I noticed that at least one other review has the same complaint. So that tells me that all kits are missing an o-ring and replacing it doesn't solve the problem.
