There is no talk of declared speeds.

Tried several testers and all the same. There is no question of any speed requirements. And the card disappears and you have to restart or remove the phone several times a day.

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Hard to say

Quickly! Computer Accessories and Peripherals

Surprised at the speed I'm getting. It's faster than my Samsung Evo Select 128GB. The tests were performed using the card reader built into my Carbon X1 (connected to the PCIE bus).

Pros
  • Hands-free calling
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Memory cards missing 7,234,781,184 bytes

My card was advertised as having a capacity of 256GB, which should be 256,000,000,000 bytes of storage. However, the card I received only has a capacity of 248,765,218,816 bytes. Update: I contacted Silicon Power to let them know they sent me a unit with insufficient capacity. I received general answers to irrelevant questions. Then they completely ignored me. After repeated attempts to contact them, I finally received a thoughtful reply: Silicon Power is concerned that I received a counterfeit

Cons
  • Older model

Terrible typing speed!

Honestly the manufacturer does NOT claim a decent write speed - the description says it's 80MB/s read (which is decent) and "up to 20MB/s" write. So they at least tell you that the write speed isn't great. In fact, my tests showed very inconsistent write speeds. In the first test, it was about 40 MB/s, which is double what the card claims. However, the second time I ran the speed test, it dropped to 30 MB/s and the third time to 24 MB/s. I'm not sure what's going on, but if I remove andโ€ฆ

However it works fine

I have seen many people reporting that this micro SD is not reporting the correct dimensions and I had the same problem. However, I tried the micro SD card in my phone and found that after backing up, it is actually 128GB, 115.64GB. I then tried several other adapters for my PC and found that the adapter was the culprit and not the card itself. I tried this with a Sandisk SD card and got the same errors until I put it in my working adapter or my put the phone in. The speed is decent, althoughโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Micro SD cards
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
