Efficient Cooling Accessory for Storage

As a result of using this product, I found that my hard drive temperatures significantly decreased, and the overall performance improved. The aluminum alloy construction is durable and sleek in design. However, it requires some technical knowledge to install properly. Overall, a great accessory for any data storage enthusiast.

Pros
  • Efficient cooling, durable construction.
Cons
  • Installation may require technical knowledge.

Works well with HP EX920 1TB SSD

I've been using this on an Asus B350 Strix board for a couple of months and it has worked great. There was only one m2 slot on the board and I needed another slot so I bought this product. I installed Linux on SSD on this m2 card and Windows on another SSD.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Just stops working after a few weeks

Used to add a second NVMe drive to a desktop computer. It worked for a good two weeks, then the second disc just disappeared. The driver didn't even show up. I shut down the system, took out and reinserted the PCIe card, booted up the machine and now it's working. I have very little confidence that it will continue to work and am considering other NVMe PCIe card options to replace it before it fails again.

  • Storage
Cons
  • Not sure
