🎧 Alpha Pilot Headset Flight Bag (Black) – Streamlined Flyer Solution Review

I've always found the typical pilot's bag with space for a bag of cheeseburgers and two life rafts unappealing. This is a great size for most pilots. The only complaint is that there's room for handles, but it's so close to the top that you can't close it when you put your handles in.

I needed a flight bag for training and everything was very expensive (like most things in aviation) except that. I'm glad I didn't spend the money on a more expensive bag because it has everything you need and then some. Space for headset, iPad, charts, drinks, knee pads etc. Looks nice doing it. What else could you possibly need?

I bought this bag for my flight training. It looked good on the product page, but when I got it home it was bigger than I thought it would be and more than I needed. I gifted this bag to my son who is also in flight training. He'll carry one more item than me, an Apple iPad, so he can use that size. Also, this is a good budget flight bag.

I found the Simpleflyer bag to be very durable and made of great material! It's already done several flights and isn't too big to carry a small plane, but it has everything you need to fly: water bottles, headphones, iPads, etc. It even has some very handy compartments for small items like pilot's papers and a pen. Holder! Would recommend this bag to anyone looking for a handbag for flight training and more!

Wow! This is an amazing flight bag for the price! Just a good size for a small plane, with side pockets for a portable VHF (large icom A25N shown) and a water bottle! The headset compartment is huge! My Zulu 3 is a BIG headset and it fits in there leaving plenty of room! The document on the back and the stationery were a nice surprise. I could fit an 11 inch iPad Pro in it, maybe a 13 inch! I could even pack a night drive in a mid-size coupe. The build looks like it will last a long time!

Design and materials are good for the price. However, it emits a horrible smoke that makes my wife and I nauseous. I literally had a headache all day. I tried putting it in the sun in my garden for 2 days and putting activated charcoal in a bag to absorb the smoke. It still didn't reduce the smell to a tolerable level. In the end I give it back. I think the seller should improve their manufacturing process to eliminate potentially toxic fumes before packaging. I have bought bags several times…

Edited March 18, 2021: After using this case for a few weeks, I noticed that the zip pocket for my headset is too tight to fit use them easy to carry. . The zipper opens only on the sides, the hole is always tightly closed.
