I have had a similar plug for many years. It got so gross that I had to look for a new one. I bought a few from the store and sent them back before I found this one - exactly the same as my old one! It's so easy to fold from open to closed! My bathtub had a small pole sticking out from the center of the drain hole, so I couldn't use many types of plugs. This one fits perfectly! It's very cheap but solves a huge problem!

This plug fits snugly into the 1.5 inch drain plug in the tub, but the top of the drain plug is not tight enough with the bottom half to hold water in the tub for more than 20-30 minutes . As a result, the water drains away slowly but quickly. Very cool design and clever idea for a drainage system, but the material doesn't adhere well enough to the top of the cork to withstand the weight and pressure of the tub water.

This plug looks exactly like the one I've been using in my kitchen sink for the past 2 years. This is the only plug I could find that actually worked and kept water in the sink. I love it.
