Smartwool Merino Long Gaiter Black Review

After receiving this in the mail I took it to the mountains to camp in the 30 degree Fahrenheit. This gaiter warmed my neck, ears and most of the back of my head very well. I really like that the pattern looks neat but is still quite muted. The material is quite soft and the only itch I felt was my beard being pressed against my face. If I had one complaint, the inner diameter of these gaiters makes them quite uncomfortable for big-headed folks like me, but that's just my issue. I would happily

Loved this product. I work a lot on the street, I like it, protects against bad weather, dries quickly. Although I hope this is an accident, in less than 2 months of use it has developed a hole in it. Not by rubbing or catching, but just sort of showed up one day. Well I have to say it works fine while it lasts.

This thing is great, I have a huge head and it fits me. It's nice and long so you can use it in many different ways. I love Smartwool and their pieces tend to be comfortable and not itchy. I think maybe I just have a sensitive throat, but I find my throat a little itchy. Not enough to return it or stop using it, but enough to downgrade an old review to four stars. I have to repeat that I have a sensitive throat.

I love Smartwool products. Never had problems with merino wool itching. I'm not very sensitive to wool, but this product makes me itchy as soon as I put it on. Maybe because they are longer than the others I have. Definitely authentic and high quality, just couldn't take the itch.
