This is exactly what I wanted. Great straws for smoothies. Much better than what I can find at the grocery store and they are paper which makes them even better.

I know it's weird to admire straws but I use them every morning and feel bad about throwing away plastic straws after a single use and let's be honest I'm too lazy to clean reusable straws it's the best of both worlds!

Thought it would be best after sliced bread. CANNOT be used for smoothies that I make at home. All you do is suck air. And then they begin to soften a hundred at the end. I do not recommend. Maybe if they waxed them?

Bought for use with supplements that I drink on the go. At the end of the day it's a lot easier to deal with, I can just process it without feeling guilty. I let them sit in my drink for over an hour with no deterioration.

These straws are definitely biodegradable! It took two straws to try and make it through a smoothie. They began to break down from the moment they hit the smoothie, closing and dissolving almost instantly. I'm pro-environment, but if I wanted to eat wet paper, I'd chew on a paper plate.

Withering after a short use. It's impossible to mingle with them and forget about it when you have ice in your cup. I thought I'd pay a bit more to get something recyclable, but they were a waste of money and ended up in the trash after a few tries. Only suitable for consumption with a quick sip, not for sipping, they will become soft.

I was concerned that the "paper" straws would get too soft and fold when you're trying to suck out a thick smoothie, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well they hold their shape, even after being used for an hour! The large diameter makes it easy to suck on thick smoothies and our son loves the colors. Mom and I appreciate it! We will continue to order again!
