Gillette Nacet Blades (Made in Russia)

I bought them together with the Merkur 34C razor. This turned out to be the perfect combination as it is very smooth and comfortable with no scratches, cuts or burns. I've used this first blade twice in a 34C and once in a 1968 Gillette Slim Adjustable, both with excellent results. I'm going to try for the fourth time today, but I'm not sure which straight razor I'm going to use; maybe my 1951 Gillette Super Speed. I think this pack of 100 blades will last a long time and now I won't try other…

By far the best knife for me.

I would highly recommend anyone new to DE razors to try a trial blade set. There is a real difference and you need to find the one that works best for your facial hair and skin type. Stainless steel nacet works best for me. I was very surprised that they outperform their platinum counterparts. They are durable too. If you buy them in bulk, you can get them for about 50 cents a blade. Make sure you pair this with a good quality shaving soap (there are plenty of good ones at Revain but the Brits…

Smooth on skin, harsh on facial hair.

These blades may not be for everyone. I have sensitive skin and coarse facial hair these are the best blades I have found apart from other stainless steel blades Gillette Razor green blades. I feel that these blades provide a nice sharp cut of facial hair while still gliding smoothly over my skin. I've tried some of the other more popular Gillette razor blades before and there's a connection of sorts between those blades and the green and yellow 7 o'clock blades. platinized blades often, unless

Definitely recommend.

These blades are by far my favourites, not the cheapest but not the most expensive either, they allow me to get a perfect shave with any of my razors, from my 1948 Super Speed up to my newest razor. Great shave on my beard with wire brush, smooth and comfortable. Definitely recommend. 👌

Best made in St. Petersburg, Russia

This is by far the best DE blade made in St. Petersburg, Russia. Everyone uses feathers as the sharpest reference. If Feather is 5/5 I would give Nacet 4.75/5 but it is smoother than Feather. Like all other Russian-made blades, they have crazy wax stains on them. My best blades are Bic Chrome platium, Nacet, Kai and Feather. Edge retention seems to be more consistent across shaves than Feather. The fifth shave is just as sharp and smooth as the first.

Excellent all-purpose blade

An excellent all-round blade with a good balance between sharpness and suppleness. The first shave isn't the best, but every subsequent shave feels really good. I usually shave 6-7 times before replacing them.

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • Slightly torn

The best DE blade I have ever used.

I'm new to wet shaving and have only used a few different blades but I'm glad I tried Nacet. I don't think I will ever order anything other than these. They're sharp enough for a BBS shave, but not so hard that they tear your face like a feather. I have a rough beard and have used the same razor blade 4 times with no problems, although I usually throw it away after 3 times. I've had razor bumps on my neck in the form of unsightly red bumps since I was a teenager and started shaving with…

Not the Blades they once were.

The Nats were one of the best on the market. The ones I have are most likely fakes. Look for packaging on the blade sheath that has something printed on it. I've had many, many different Gillette DE blades and none of them had marks. They did, and lo and behold, they don't perform like typical Nacet blades.

Great blades, probably the best

I've tried so many blades I can't believe the reviews. I tried them today and I wasn't lying when I said "wow" when I finished my first pass with the muler, one pass with and one pass against the fibers. I recommend these blades to anyone with sensitive skin and a rough moustache. I was always either annoyed or annoyed. the rest of the hair on my face, but not with these blades.
