This is a pure leather bag, they give a leather sample for you to know what material this is. Very impressive for the price. Makes a lovely gift. My only issue is that they pack the bag with the bottom folded, and the fold produces a crease that is almost permanent. The bag is lovely, but after a couple of days I began to wonder about the size. I ordered the bag that's described as 18 inches wide. Measured the widest part, and it's only 16 inches (or maybe a tad less). I ordered this specifically because I need a larger bag, so I'm wondering if the wrong item was shipped.
